Scoring guide

How Ovvash Score works

Your daily score, from 0 to 100, shows how close the day came to your own plan. Every module you plan something in counts equally.

The formula

Each day, Ovvash looks only at what you scheduled for that day, in the apps you've turned on. Modules with nothing scheduled are left out, so they never count against you.

Step 1 — Module score

For each module, divide the scheduled items you finished by the items you scheduled that day, then multiply by 100.

Step 2 — Daily score

Your Ovvash Score is the plain average of every module that had something scheduled that day. Each one weighs the same. The result is rounded to a whole number.

Example: habits 75%, tasks 100%, study 50%, no workout planned → (75 + 100 + 50) ÷ 3 = 75 points.

What counts as scheduled

Only items scheduled for that calendar day count. Anything extra you do is still worth doing, but it doesn't add points.

Habits

Every active habit counts on each day between its start and end date.

  • A habit is done when you hit its daily target.
  • Archived habits, and days before a habit starts or after it ends, are left out.

Tasks

Tasks due that day count. Appointments and meetings count on the day they're set for.

  • Only tasks marked done count as finished.
  • Tasks with no deadline that day don't change the score.

Study

Study sessions you planned for that day count toward your study score.

  • Finish a session on its planned day to earn credit. A late session doesn't count as on time.
  • Unplanned sessions are good practice, but they don't add points.

Workouts

Workouts from your weekly fitness plan count on the days they're planned.

  • Log a planned workout to mark it done. A planned workout you don't log counts as missed.
  • Extra workouts outside your plan don't add points.

Worked example

Say you finish 3 of 4 habits, 2 of 2 tasks and 1 of 2 study sessions, with no workout planned.

Habits
3/4 = 75%
Tasks
2/2 = 100%
Study
1/2 = 50%
Workouts
Nothing scheduled

80+

You showed up for most of what you planned.

50–79

Solid progress

Good momentum — a few more completions can push you into the green.

< 50

Rebuild today

A low score is feedback, not failure. Just show up for the next thing on your plan.

Days with no plan

If nothing is scheduled in any app you've turned on, that day has no score. You'll see “No plan” instead of 0 or 100. Plan something and your score appears.
