Welcome to Ovvash! These Terms of Service ("Terms") are the rules for using Ovvash, including our website at ovvash.com, the web app, any future mobile apps, and related services (together, the "Service"). "Ovvash", "we", "us" and "our" mean the Ovvash service and the business that runs it. "You" means you, the person using the Service.
By creating an account or using Ovvash, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use Ovvash.
1. What Ovvash is
Ovvash is a personal life-management app built around one idea: life balance. It brings your daily life into one place with modules such as Habits, To-Do, Journal, Finance, Medicine and Diet, plus optional AI features. Your Ovvash Score shows how your day went compared to your plan, with every active module counting equally.
We're always improving Ovvash. We may add, change or remove features and modules over time. Modules marked "coming soon" (for example Fitness or Study) are plans, not promises, and may arrive later than expected or change along the way. Ovvash is available on the web; Android and iOS apps are planned.
2. Who can use Ovvash
- You must be at least 13 years old, or at least 16 (or the higher age required) where your local law requires it.
- If you're under the age of legal adulthood where you live, you confirm a parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms.
- You must be able to form a binding agreement and not be barred from using the Service under applicable law.
3. Your account
- Give us accurate information and use an email address you can access and verify.
- Keep your password safe. You're responsible for activity under your account.
- Tell us right away at support@ovvash.com if you think someone else has accessed your account.
- One person per account, please. Don't share your account or sell or transfer it.
4. Plans, trials and billing
Plans
- Starter (free): includes all modules, without AI features.
- Paid plans (such as Growth): subscriptions that add AI features and other extras. Current plans, features, limits and prices are shown on our pricing page and at checkout. Plan names, tiers, features and limits may change over time.
Free trial
Eligible paid plans offer a 1-month free trial. No payment card is required to start it. You may use one trial per plan. Growth can be tried by Starter users; higher plans need a live subscription to the plan directly below them, paid for the minimum months set for that plan. During a trial you keep paying your current plan, and when the trial ends you fall back to that plan (or Starter if you had none). Trial features and limits follow the plan you are trying.
Payments through Paddle
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle handles payments, billing, taxes (such as VAT or sales tax), invoices, and customer service inquiries about payments and returns. When you buy a subscription, you also agree to Paddle's Buyer Terms (https://www.paddle.com/legal/buyer-terms), and Paddle's privacy policy applies to the payment information it collects.
Renewal and cancellation
- Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly and renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel.
- You can cancel anytime, through the subscription management link we or Paddle provide, or by emailing support@ovvash.com. After you cancel, you keep paid access until the end of the billing period you've already paid for, then your account moves to Starter. Your data stays with you.
- Prices are shown at checkout and may include taxes depending on where you live.
Price changes
If we raise prices, existing subscribers keep the price they signed up at for as long as their subscription stays active (if you cancel and come back later, current prices apply). New prices apply to new subscribers only. Any introductory price shown at checkout lasts only for the period stated there.
Refunds
Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.
Failed payments
If a renewal payment fails and isn't fixed, we may move your account to Starter or limit access to paid features until payment is sorted out.
5. Your content
- It's yours. You own everything you put into Ovvash, like your habits, tasks, journal entries, financial records, medicine and diet logs, photos and AI chats ("Your Content").
- Permission to run the Service. You give us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, process, back up, display and transmit Your Content only as needed to provide, secure and improve Ovvash for you. This includes sending relevant content to our service providers (such as AI and OCR providers) when you use those features, as described in our Privacy Policy. This license ends when you delete Your Content or your account, except for copies we must keep by law.
- We don't sell it. We don't sell Your Content or use it for advertising, and we only use AI providers' paid API services, under terms that don't let them train their models on Your Content.
- Your responsibility. Make sure you have the right to upload what you add, and don't upload anything illegal or anything that infringes someone else's rights.
- Sharing is your choice. Everything is private by default. If you choose to share any content (for example, your public habits dashboard, a journal share link, or a progress image), anyone who receives it can see it. Share carefully.
6. AI features
Ovvash offers optional AI features, such as "Talk to AI" and the AI chat page at ovvash.com/ai.
- How it works. Your message and the relevant app data needed to answer it are sent to third-party AI providers (currently Anthropic (Claude) as primary and Google (Gemini) as backup) to generate a reply. See our Privacy Policy for details.
- You confirm before saving. The AI may propose entries (like a task, expense or meal). Nothing is saved until you confirm it, so please review suggestions before you accept them.
- AI can be wrong. AI replies may be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date. They are not medical, nutritional, financial, legal or other professional advice. Don't rely on them for important decisions.
- Feedback. You can like or dislike replies and add optional written feedback. We use this to improve quality.
- Limits. AI features are available on eligible plans and during the trial, with daily usage limits that depend on your plan and may change. AI currently works in English only.
- Use it fairly. Don't use AI features to create harmful, illegal or abusive content, to try to extract our prompts or systems, or to get around usage limits.
7. Health and money: important disclaimer
The Medicine, Diet and Finance modules (and any AI replies about them) help you organize and track your own information. They are not:
- medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, or a replacement for a doctor, pharmacist, dietitian or other health professional. Don't change, start or stop any medicine or diet based on Ovvash. Any reminders or notifications may fail or be delayed, so don't rely on Ovvash as your only reminder for critical medication. In an emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately.
- financial, investment, tax or accounting advice. Numbers, totals and summaries depend on what you enter and may contain errors, including from receipt scanning. Check important figures yourself and talk to a qualified professional.
8. Acceptable use
Please don't:
- break the law or help anyone else break it;
- access or try to access other people's accounts or data;
- interfere with, overload or disrupt the Service, or bypass security or usage limits;
- reverse engineer, scrape or copy the Service except as the law allows;
- upload malware or anything harmful;
- harass, abuse or harm others, or upload content that is illegal or infringes others' rights;
- resell or commercially exploit the Service without our written permission.
9. Our intellectual property
Ovvash, including our software, design, logos, brand and content (excluding Your Content), belongs to us and our licensors. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service under these Terms. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without any obligation to you.
10. Third-party services
Ovvash relies on third-party services, such as Paddle for payments, Google Sign-In, and our AI, OCR and hosting providers. Your use of some of them may also be subject to their own terms and policies. We aren't responsible for third-party services we don't control.
11. Exporting data and closing your account
- You can leave anytime. To export your data or delete your account, email support@ovvash.com from your account email. If you have an active subscription, cancel it too so it doesn't renew.
- We may suspend or close accounts if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms, if we're required to by law, or to protect users or the Service. Where reasonable, we'll tell you first and give you a chance to export your data.
- We may discontinue the Service. If we ever shut Ovvash down, we'll give reasonable notice so you can export your data, and handle any refunds as described in our Refund Policy and as required by law.
12. Disclaimers
We work hard to make Ovvash reliable, but the Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't promise the Service will always be available, error-free, or that data will never be lost, so keep your own copies of anything important.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law:
- we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill; and
- our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) USD 50.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, such as liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under the laws of your country of residence that can't be waived by contract, including consumer protection laws.
14. Indemnity
If you use Ovvash in a way that breaks these Terms or the law and that causes a claim against us, you agree to cover our reasonable losses and costs from that claim, to the extent allowed by law.
15. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that can't be resolved informally will be handled by the courts of Bangladesh.
Nothing in this section limits rights you have under the laws of your country of residence. If you're a consumer living in the EEA, UK, United States or another country with mandatory consumer protections, you keep the protection of those mandatory laws, and you may bring a claim in the courts where you live if those laws give you that right.
Before starting any formal dispute, please email support@ovvash.com so we can try to fix things together. Most issues can be solved quickly that way.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make important changes, we'll let you know by email or in the app before they take effect. If you keep using Ovvash after the changes take effect, you accept the new Terms. If you don't agree, you can stop using Ovvash and cancel your subscription.
17. General
- These Terms, our Privacy Policy and our Refund Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the Service.
- If any part of these Terms can't be enforced, the rest stays in effect.
- If we don't enforce something right away, we haven't given up our right to do it later.
- You can't transfer these Terms without our permission. We may transfer them as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
- If these Terms are translated, the English version controls where allowed by law.
